What we collect

Through the “A question before you book?” form: your name, your email address and your message, as well as the language of the page and the country inferred from your connection.

If you accept audience measurement: visit statistics (pages viewed, where visitors come from, device type), through Google Analytics. No account, no profile.

Why

Only to answer your request and prepare a possible stay (pre-contractual steps taken at your request). You also receive an email confirming that we have your message.

Your data is never sold, rented or used for marketing.

Audience measurement, only if you accept it, helps us understand how the website is used and improve it. It is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who receives it

The hotel team.

Our technical providers, acting on our behalf and only to run the website: 92 Media House (website design and maintenance), Cloudflare (hosting), Google (storage of the requests we receive and, if you accept it, audience measurement with Google Analytics) and Resend (sending emails, servers in Ireland). Some are based outside the European Union; these transfers are covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or the Data Privacy Framework.

How long

Three years after our last exchange, after which the data is deleted.

Google Analytics statistics are kept for 14 months; your cookie choice for 6 months.

Online booking

When you book, you leave this website for D-Edge’s secure booking module. The details you enter there and your payment are handled under D-Edge’s privacy policy; this website never sees your card details.

Cookies

If you accept it in the banner shown on your first visit, Google Analytics sets audience measurement cookies (_ga…), kept for 13 months at most. If you decline, no cookie is set and Google is never contacted.

You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookies” link at the bottom of every page; you are asked again every six months.

The website also keeps your chosen language and your cookie choice in your browser; this information never leaves your device.

Fonts are hosted on the website itself.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, or receive a copy: write to contact@villadesambassadeurs.com and we will reply within a month.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can contact the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
